I have a constant need to be productive and get ahead and as developer I have a FOMO on the new and shiny JS front-end frameworks.
Looking at God's activity in my life, God has been very good to me and my family. All my career milestones were not a result of my effort but God's hand.
- I was able to study on a good school. I have no control over this, it was God who blessed my parents for them to be able to send me to a good school.
- I studied electronics engineering in school and I have very little interest in programming. But during my first job, I was exposed to automation and programming. That got me interested in programming and opened the doors for me to shift to IT industry.
- I started as a Java developer and was happily doing that. However, my employer decided to shift to Drupal. I would never have done that on my own. Drupal would have turned me off.
- Now I like Drupal and has been source of God's provision to our family.
My life is a testimony of God's goodness. That I may be rested in the Lord and his goodness. Not by my effort, but by God's faithfulness.
Judges 7:2
2 The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me.’
